Lion
Lion is a film based on a true story about an Indian boy who gets lost and adopted by an Australian family. The story focuses on the present day main character as he tries to find his biological parents. The movie flashes back to the main character as a child and a young adult to show his past and struggles with being an adoptee
While this is a Hollywood film with aspects that are exaggerated and subtle hints of whilte savior complex, the film does do a good job depicting the main character's identity struggle and how it affects him as a whole.
