The Half of It is a Netflix film about about an Asian-American high school girl who helps a guy get his crush to fall in love with him. However, the main character is also crushing on the same girl.
The main character is played by actress Leah Lewis, a Chinese-adoptee raised in the United States. Besides the actress being Leah Lewis, the film also has a main Asian character identify with the LGBTQ+ community, which is very rare in mainstream media.
