An Adoptee Anthology

A Collection of Adoptee-related Resources I wish I had when I was younger

Found

Found is a Netflix documentary released in November 2021. It is my most recently watched documentary and probably one of my most favorite adoptee-related documentaries because of the authenticity of the documentary. Compared to other films, this documentary does not seem to have a hidden agenda. Rather, the documentary focuses on the storytellinga and realness of being an adoptee while searching for family and birth parents. The documentary also does not show any white savior complex or hide the negative complexity of being an adoptee.

International Child Searching Alliance

ICSA is one of my favorite searching resource because of the endless amount of information.

Found

CCI is one of my favorite organizations because it is adoptee focused.
